For the first three days after installation, do not raise or lower the windows, and do not wash the car or wipe the film with anything hard. This prevents the fresh film from curling or cracking at the edges and lets it bond firmly to the glass.
Second, misting and water pockets on the second day are normal. Sunlight evaporates the moisture and they disappear on their own, so there is no need to worry. They clear up with time.
In winter the film takes longer to dry out completely. The front and rear screens are the most heavily curved, so they need about a month to dry through. Keep water off these areas during that period so the film conforms properly and lasts longer.
In summer, do not aim the air-conditioning vents at the film. At high temperatures the film can deform or lift at the edges, so point the vents elsewhere to avoid damage.
Also, try not to stick anything to the film for the first month, nothing heavy, such as hanging toys. Excess weight can cause bubbling or peeling, which ruins both the look and the performance.
If you notice bubbles along the edges, discolouration or peeling, contact the after-sales team promptly. Dealing with it quickly saves trouble later and protects the quality and performance of the film.
